It's November 17, and as of yet, a hard frost has not set in. This gave me the opportunity to do a little TLC and picture taking around my gardens. My dahlias needed digging, so I did just that, washed them, and now they are sitting on newspapers in my living room. Once they are dry to the touch I will wrap them in fresh newspapers, put them in grocery bags and store them in the basement until May. There are other, probably better ways to properly store dahlia tubers, but this method has worked for me for years.
